three missed calls.

we cooked! technically, i didn't, i was more of, you know, the kitchen assistant, than the chef, because honestly, i'm really dumb when it comes to cooking, like who scalds her hand when frying an egg right! but anyway, he did the cooking, my boy! (: and he said, "you see, now i fulfill one of your criteria of your ideal boyfriend!" so smugly he's cute. (: heh. (: BUT anyway, we had like beef and AWESOME vegetables, i've never seen such beautiful xiao bai cai (what's that called in english? little cabbage? O.o). and it was a wholesome healthy delicious meal, that tastes like home! (:

i like quality time. (: alot. (:

so anyway, to catch up on quality time, we sneaked off without the rest of the guys to exploit the winterlicious dinner deal at the CN Tower! (: the single most must-see attraction in toronto for being the world's used-to-be tallest building, now the second after the one in dubai. (: and you know, you always look at it from afar and you think that it's not actually that tall, but when you're on top of it, it just gives you the jitters. i'm not afraid of heights, but seriously, when i saw the glass floor and the immense distance between my legs and the solid ground below, i actually hesitated. like, omg how am i supposed to step on something so imaginary?! but i did, when i saw like a couple of kids jumping around on the glass floor and felt too mousey for being such a sad twenty-year-old. but i must say, the view is amazing, like a.m.a.z.i.n.g, i have to type it in such a cliche way. you could see the whole city, and the horizon, and the skyscrapers that used to be towering over you while you're on the streets are now like so tiny, they're like part of a lego set. you can never visualize that kind of picture ever in your life, i'm on top of the world! (: i just wished the outdoor observation level was more spectacular though, there were weird spikes that obstructed our view so it was a major disappointment. but we had an awesome dinner at the horizons restaurant, sitting just beside the full length glass window, so we actually watched the sky turn dark and the city lights start turning on. (: sweet. (:

so, i spent a weekend mugging my ass off, haha yes! i didn't expect to mug during SEP, but i did! because the sample questions the professor emailed us were insanely intimidating. and we had the midterm exam today, and i'm finally glad it's over! this is my first ever midterm exam in schulich! (and why is it so darned hard!) and we're done with sport marketing, which was really interesting and insightful. i've never been into sports, but hearing so much passion in class discussions have made me at least slightly more in tune with the international sports scene. (: i like learning new things. (:

while i was away from my phone, my dad gave me three missed calls and emailed to tell me there's this mega snowstorm in new york and asked if i'm alright. (: so sweet. (: THREE missed calls!

time to slack off. (:
